Pets Portrait Shots

This is my first photography outing of year 2010. We went out to take pets portraits and our model was Marney, a friendly and energetic dog. I personally like the 3rd photo the most (click to view it big and see the impact :-D).

Do view the photoset for more photos.

Happy Mooncake Festival

I just came back from the Lantern Festival held at Esplande. I didn't bring my camera this time coz the weather was not so good, it's raining. Anyway, I really enjoyed the stage performance throughout the whole event especially the Chinese 24 Drum performance.

Valerie did bring her camera there and got some great shots from the event. After the event, I borrowed her Nikon D60 and snapped a portrait.

Happy Mooncake Festival, everyone!!

Outdoor Portrait Shots II

Last Sunday, John, Reiny, Jess and I went out for outdoor portrait shots again. The last time we went out for portrait shots was in May 2009 at Batu Ferringhi (Outdoor Portrait Shots).

This time, we went to Balik Pulau area with 3 models, Su Lie, Yee Ming and Chee Fang. Without having an exact place in mind to go, we just tried our luck with GPS equipment, click on a few places of interest and headed to the destinations. We went to Kuala Sungai Pinang and a church in Balik Pulau.

Here are a few shots taken (Click on the photos to view in bigger size).

Doughnuts Fever

Has anyone tasted Big Apple, J.CO or Krispy Kreme doughnuts before? Last Sunday, we had a chance to taste Krispy Kreme doughnuts, bought from Berjaya Times Square, KL and delivered personally with extra care by Kai Chieh to Penang.

We gathered at Aegie's house, in a small hut next to the swimming pool and facing Jerejak beach where we can get some cool breeze while enjoying our doughnuts. Well, drinks were prepared as well. Thanks to Aegie for the sweet Ribena. Kai Chieh bought 2 boxes of doughnuts: One with 12 Original Glazed doughnuts while another one with 12 doughnuts in assorted flavours...

While both doughnut boxes were opened, everyone was so happy and excited, just like when a kid sees his favourite chocolate banana boat ice-cream. Aiks, look at the photo below you'll get what I mean...

Pun Bing, waiting for Doughnuts

Before we start to eat, everyone had to take a portrait shot together with the doughnut and pose as cute as possible. What a crazy idea eh! Well, which pose is the cutest? :-D

Everyone was enjoyed in this small gathering...

Cheers!!

And at the end, we finished up all our doughnuts, not even spare some bites for the ants resided there. The doughnuts were yummy although they were not served hot. To me, personally, I prefer the Original Glazed doughnuts more than the flavoured ones as I can really feel how spongy the doughnut is from my each bite.

The Last Few Pieces...

Last but not least, the group photo. Thanks everyone especially Kai Chieh and Aegie for the doughnuts and drinks.

Group Photo

By the way, one thing I learned here is that maybe I should take the group photo at the beginning of the gathering before we start to eat. If not, the result will be like the photo above: Everyone looks tired and sleepy after their stomach filled with doughnuts. =P
