Penang Drum Performance was organized by the Penang State Tourism Development & Culture Exco yesterday, 12 September 2009 at the Esplanade. For the first time ever in Penang, drummers from ethnic Malay, Chinese and Indian were coming together to beat their way to the rhythm of the harmony.
The performance that night featured Malay drums, Chinese 24 Drums, Nathewaram & Thavil classical Indian drums and Banggra drums. However, I missed the Chinese 24 Drum performance which was presented at the beginning of the event as I reached there late.
